Ros is such an inspirational honest person, she is the only person who has ever got me to lose weight by not doing a ridiculous faddy diet, which deprives you of everything you love, I cannot believe that after seeing Ros, I have not only lost loads of weight, I have kept it off whilst both she and I were away the whole summer?? 
I eat everything I love, but the difference now is Ros has made me aware of what I eat and taught me that I am in control and that the food does not control me!
I promise that after 20+ years yo-yo dieting I am now, slimmer, happier, healthier and not depriving myself of anything, what’s more I lose weight every week and keep it off!

I am delighted to say that I am a very satisfied client of Ros Astaire. I started using Ros’s services in June 2010, having just come down from long term steroid treatment, during which time I had gained 3 stone in weight.   I have used WeightWatchers twice over a period of years but, this time, did ot feel I would have the willpower to achieve the discipline needed at this time of my life.  Ros has been my inspiration during these last months, always “sitting on my shoulder”, encouraging me to keep to my eating regime, and I have now lost 24 lbs under her guidance, started doing some exercise, and have dropped 2 dress sizes.

After gaining weight in my mature years I had tried many diets to shed the pounds. Although they worked the weight always came back on. I knew that I had to change my eating habits permanently but needed some help and guidance in that area as I had developed some bad habits over the years. Finding Ros was a godsend as she showed myself and my husband where we were going wrong. It’s not a quick fix and takes time and dedication on your part but it is so worth while in the end. My husband also took part and although neither of us had a great deal to lose the pounds were not shifting. My husband did better than me. He lost 12lbs in total whilst I lost 6lbs and although my own weight loss doesn’t sound that much, because I lost it slowly and have learnt where I was going wrong I have kept it off. It truly is the only way that works and Ros is a patient and dedicated person who will continue to work with you for as long as you need her. I have no hesitation in recommending her and if I find it necessary I will have her back for myself!!!!! The very best thing about Weight Expectations is the fact that you are not dieting in any way. You are just learning about food and the proof of that is the fact that we have just returned from a two week holiday in Cyprus where we ate and drank what we wanted, the difference being we now knew, thanks to Ros which choices to make!!!!

When I met Ros I was really curious, after listening to her talk about how losing weight didn’t have to be about not enjoying the foods I liked but about really understanding my bodies needs and the signals that it was sending me, I wanted to know more. Although I didn;t have a lot of weight to lose, approaching 50 the pounds were creeping on and whatever I seemed to do, they weren;t coming back off again!        

Ros helped me to really understand why I ate certain foods at certain times and helped me get back in tune with what my body wanted. The pounds gradually melted away and I felt really good about myself again! I feel I have come away with a set of principles that will last me for life.

When I gave up smoking 18 months ago, I gained nearly 2 stone!
